The aim of this research was to identify most common causes of diarrhea in „X“ small animal clinic and evaluate most frequently used treatment methods of gastrointestinal disease. It was included 30 dogs with clinical signs of diarrhea. Data were collected of their age, sex and breed. The study included anamnesis, clinical examination and special tests such as: blood morphological and biochemical examination, direct stool sample microscopy, coprological examination, and rapid tests. Statistical analysis of the obtained data was performed using „Microsoft Excel 365“ and „IBM SPSS Statistics, 22.0 version“ software.
